This is my consultancy business which I set up in 2011.
addition to working on projects myself, I can draw on a range of experts in arts management, social research, business strategy, fundraising and marketing.
bit about my background.
Glanville MA (Oxon) FRSA
I know arts organisations and charities from the inside, as a practitioner, as a manager and as a trustee.
In the early 90s, together with a group of colleagues and collaborators, I was one of the founders of Camden
People’s Theatre. CPT has led the way in supporting emerging artists and companies working
in new and experimental theatre practice as well as providing development space for more established artists. I was Chair of Trustees for CPT until November 2012 when I
stepped down after nearly 20 years of continuous involvement with the development of this key organisation in London’s theatre ecology.
I have worked with a range of national charities, where I have created and implemented effective development plans, securing grants and contracts worth many millions. As well as
strategic planning, I have helped organisations secure and maintain important corporate relationships and have regularly represented national organisations on public platforms, in advisory groups and
through on and offline communications.
My experience in the charities sector includes partnership working with large consortia of national and local organisations, setting up and devising governance structures
for new organisations, job specifications and recruitment, advising on change management, contract negotiation, compliance issues and reporting.
Trained originally as a classical musician, I am a trustee of The London
Bach Society and Chair of Arts
